Prof. Tomislav Meštrović is an internationally recognized physician, clinician, and scientist in the fields of biomedicine, public health, and global health.
His research mission encompasses microbiology, epidemiology, infectious
diseases, antimicrobial resistance, global burden of disease, sexual and reproductive health, and health metrics — translating high-quality
evidence into clear, impactful scientific communication.
He is the author of over 300 scientific and professional papers with over 120,
000 citations (Scopus) and an h-index greater than 100. He is listed among the top 2%
most cited scientists in the world according to Stanford University.

(Varaždin); coordinates courses in public health, microbiology,
epidemiology, and health economics at the undergraduate, graduate, and
