Potassium chloride

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 250 ml of previously boiled and cooled water.

The prepared solution can be stored:

up to 3 hours at room temperature, or
up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.

The quantity and dosage are determined by the doctor depending on the degree of dehydration.

For mild to moderate dehydration, rehydration solution is usually used for the first 4–6 hours, after which hydration is continued until symptoms resolve.
